Marrakech had always been our dream for a destination wedding. We feel attracted by its culture, colors, light, landscapes, food, music… And when Katerina & Julian reached out to us and gave us the opportunity of walking by their side on their adventure we didn’t need to think it twice.
This couple chose Marrakech and its stunning landscapes to celebrate their wedding. The Beldi Country Club was a perfect choice for the wedding day. They had the ceremony in a beautiful glass greenhouse with more than 3 meters high plants and a romantic arch decorated with beautiful white roses.
The appetitive was served in the garden, which was decorated with Arabian rugs and cushions full of lanterns also following the Arabian style. At dinner time we moved to a hall where people was not left indifferent by the amazing moroccan goldsmithing lamps that were hanging from the roof. Afterwards the guests enjoyed a big party outdoors with plenty of confetti, bonfires and music until the early hours.
But if there was something that took our breath away was, without a doubt, the post wedding party in the desert. The following day to the wedding we moved with Tali, the photographer, a few kilometers away from Marrakesh to get into the desert and it was shocking to find a Burning Man style party among the dunes, with Bedouin carps, rugs, camels, DJ, lights… it was amazing to see how the couple and their guests were enjoying the party.
Undoubtedly, a wedding in Marrakesh is more than a simple wedding and we would repeat the experience with the eyes closed.
Marrakech había sido siempre nuestro sueño como lugar para una Destination Wedding. De allí nos atrae la cultura, los colores, la luz, los paisajes, la comida, la música….. Y cuando Katerina & Julian contactaron con nosotros y nos brindaron la oportunidad de acompañarles en su aventura no lo pensamos dos veces.
Esta pareja había elegido para celebrar su boda Marrakech y sus increíbles parajes. El Beldi Country Club fue un acierto total para el día de la boda. Celebraron la ceremonia en un precioso invernadero acristalado con plantas de más de 3 metros de altura y decoración con un romántico arco repleto de rosas blancas.
El aperitivo se celebró en el jardín decorado con alfombras y cojines árabes y repleto de farolillos de estilo árabe también. Ya para la cena, nos trasladamos a un salón del que colgaban unas impresionantes lámparas de orfebrería marroquí que no dejaron indiferente a nadie. Seguidamente disfrutaron de una gran fiesta al aire libre con lluvia de confeti, hogueras y música hasta el amanecer.
Pero si algo nos dejó sin palabras, fue sin duda, la fiesta postboda en el desierto. El día después de la boda nos trasladamos junto con Tali, la fotógrafa, varios km a las afueras de Marrakech para adentrarnos en el desierto y fue sorprendente encontrar entre dunas, una fiesta al más puro Burning Man con carpas beduinas, alfombras, camellos, Dj, luces,….. Brutal como disfrutaron los novios y sus invitados de esta fiesta.
Sin duda, una boda en Marrakech es más que una simple boda y repetiríamos experiencia con los ojos cerrados.
