Surrounded by the blue of the Mediterranean and defined by its elegant Roman arches facing the sea, La Fortaleza is one of Europe’s most exclusive wedding venues. It was here that we filmed a unique celebration: three unforgettable days where two brides shared their love with family and friends in a setting that felt truly cinematic.
La Fortaleza: where history meets the sea
Located on a private peninsula in northern Mallorca, La Fortaleza combines history, architecture, and nature in perfect harmony. Its stone arches, lush gardens, and endless sea views transform every frame into a cinematic painting.
From the first visit, we knew this place demanded a calm and elegant visual narrative. Every corner —from the terraces to the jetty— offered a different play of light and texture. Our goal was to capture the majesty of the location without overshadowing what truly mattered: the love story at its center.
A three-day wedding celebration
The wedding, beautifully designed and organized by Mille Papillons, was more than an event — it was an immersive experience. Every element, from lighting and décor to music and pacing, contributed to a cohesive visual story.
Over three days, we captured everything: the arrival of guests, intimate moments, laughter, and emotions that couldn’t be scripted. The couple’s natural chemistry allowed us to create an edit full of rhythm and authenticity, where every shot breathes joy and freedom.
Our cinematic approach
At HUMà06, we treat every wedding as a cinematic production. We don’t simply record — we direct, compose, and edit with purpose. Planning, light control, and sound design are just as important as spontaneity.
In La Fortaleza, we worked with multiple cameras and a small, discreet crew. We used long takes, sunset drone sequences, and fixed lenses that emphasize texture and warmth. The result is a wedding film that blends classic cinematic elegance with the authenticity of real life.
